Chris Gerono
My name is Chris Gerono and every major decision I’ve made for the last 30 years has been based on fly fishing.
I have been lucky enough to have been guiding now for 23 years with 14 of those years as a Fly Fishers International certified casting instructor. During that time I have been guiding for my passions; trout and steelhead. The majority of this guiding has been in Montana (including Yellowstone Park), Idaho and Oregon. Other states I’ve guided in include Colorado, Pennsylvania and of course Alaska. I have been an avid fly tyer my entire fly fishing career, creating fly patterns and a specialty fly tying base with 3 vices for step tying. Along with guiding I’ve been conducting fly fishing retreats, schools and classes. Common Lines https://youtu.be/09j1Ayq-4RU is a short that was filmed during my advanced fly fishing school “trout camp” in Montana! If you are a Hank Patterson fan, check out one of the adventures I’ve been lucky enough to take part in, https://youtu.be/B2Pr6z_c-OQ. I am also a published author and photographer.
I look forward to sharing time on the water with you!
